Ekaterina Tokareva

Ekaterina Tokareva is a PhD candidate and the lecturer with the school of Media and Communications at RMIT University. The working title of her project is ‘The politics of Internet governance in Russia’. By applying ethnographic approach, the project seeks to contribute to an understanding of how struggles over the Internet governance unfold in Russia, who the actors are and what are the factors that influence those struggles. Ekaterina’s background is in History, Communication and Public Relations.
