Gabrielle is a PhD candidate in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University. Gabby’s research project transverses the boundaries between the real and the virtual through childhood art and VR. This follows an honours project which explored embodied feminist approaches to 360° video. A background in video production allows for an interplay of practice and theoretical exploration. Gabby’s thoughts often consider the fractures between becoming-human and becoming-researcher.
