Ivana Jurko

Ivana Jurko is a co-founder of Humanitech at Australian Red Cross, where she leads the evidence and influence team. She is also a PhD candidate at RMIT University, exploring the humanitarian implications of frontier technologies through an ethnography of Humanitech. With 15 years’ experience in the social purpose sector, her areas of practice include social policy and innovation, humanitarian futures and foresight, and the design and delivery of complex social initiatives. As a Partner Investigator in the ARC Centre for Automated Decision-making and Society, Ivana’s focus is on connecting academic research with humanitarian practice.
