Susie Elliott is an artist, curator and researcher whose academic and creative work explores issues around making, the domestic and revived informal social spaces. 

She co-runs Wide Open Road Art, a public art space in Castlemaine, Victoria, as an extension of collaborative and independent practice, and has recently received grants for work for the Regional Centre for Culture, Mt Alexander Shire, Creative Victoria, Regional Arts Victoria and Castlemaine State Festival. Her PhD research with DERC furthers this exploration of craft and the home as a renewed space of social interest.
