Thanh Tran

Thanh Tran is a PhD student in the School of Media and Communication, RMIT Melbourne and a lecturer in Advertising at the RMIT Vietnam campus. Her research focuses on investigating the social and cultural implications and values of a new type of social media influencers: social cartoon ones. The study explores the impact of new influencers through the application of automated content production in Vietnam. 

Prior to academia, Thanh worked in senior positions in strategic planning and client service management in the communication industry in Vietnam.
