Yaron Meron

Yaron Meron is a PhD candidate in the School of Communication Design, RMIT. He has twenty years experience as a professional designer and creative director, in the UK and Australia, working for design agencies, publishing companies and, most recently, for his own design consultancy.

Yaron’s research is an exploration into the use of dramaturgy, as a generative design methodology to make the familiar strange, to explore relationships between designers and stakeholders in communication design practice.

He holds a Masters degree in Design from Central St Martins, London; and in Public Art from RMIT. He also has a post-graduate diploma in print and publishing from the LCC and an undergraduate degree in Cultural Studies. His photography book, Fragments of Abstraction, was published earlier this year, followed by an exhibition.
