Yee Man Louie

Yee Man Louie is a doctoral candidate at DERC.  Her PhD research explores the emergent issue of technology-facilitated domestic abuse (TFDA) with a specific focus on the lived experiences of women victim-survivors from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

It involves two phases of research, in-depth interviews with frontline professionals and in-depth interviews with Chinese immigrant women who have been victims of domestic abuse.  The research aims to better understand the experiences of an under-researched group and to identify ways to improve responses to TFDA among CALD women.
