This project gathers empirical data about Australians’ understandings of image-based sexual abuse, image-based sexual abuse laws and the role of bystanders in responding to this growing problem.
Informed by focus groups, surveys and stakeholder engagement, the project will generate new, policy-relevant knowledge contributing to preventing image-based sexual abuse nationwide, including developing and disseminating a set of resources to organisations to improve understandings of responses, as well as developing targeted education and prevention strategies.
