International Science and Evidence-based Education (ISEE)

UNESCO MGIEP is an integral part of the UNESCO Education Sector and is its research institute based in New Delhi. UNESCO MGIEP has initiated an International Science and Evidence-based Education (ISEE) Assessment as part of UNESCO’s Futures of Education Initiative.

The overall goal of ISEEA is to (a) pool expertise on educational systems and reforms from a range of stakeholders in an open and inclusive manner, and (b) undertake a scientifically robust and evidence-based assessment that can inform education policy making at all levels and scales. This initiative will seek to develop a substantial document that offers the 193 UNESCO Member States an evidence-based assessment of education in order to cultivate human flourishing.
