Hannah Withers is the Research Coordinator for the Technology, Communication and Policy Lab. She has key experience in research and research administration in the field of media and communication, having worked as a senior research assistant and research assistant for journalism and media faculties at UNSW, Monash University, Macquarie University, Sydney University, and Swinburne University of Technology. In previous years Hannah was a Research Fellow at Melbourne University Law School, a Policy Officer for the Australian Council of Trade Unions, a Country Advisor for the Refugee Review Tribunal, and an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development for the Mekong Migration Network in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Hannah has a Master of Human Rights (with Merit) from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Journalism (with Distinction) from RMIT, a Bachelor of Laws from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts (Languages and International Studies) from UNSW.
Hannah is currently on leave until October 2018.
