Jenny Kennedy is an ARC DECRA Fellow in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT. She has particular interest in the lived experiences of technology in domestic spaces and ethnographical studies of home life. Her current projects focus on affordability barriers to digital inclusion for low-income households. She also researches the gendering of AI and automation technologies in home environments. Jenny is an associate investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making + Society. Her recent books include The Smart Wife (MIT Press) and Digital Domesticity (Oxford).
