    Lisbeth Klastrup is an Associate Professor of Digital Media and Culture at the IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She has studied digital culture og communication practices since 1999. Her current work focuses on emerging practices of mourning on social media, and the memefication of politics; both examples of the interplay between social technologies and contemporary culture. Her most recent books are Social Network Media (Samfundslitteratur, 2016, in Danish); and Transmedial Worlds in Everyday Life:  Networked Reception, Social Media and Fictional Worlds (with Susana Tosca, Routledge, 2019).
