Samuel Kininmonth is a doctoral researcher in the Technology, Communication and Policy (TCP) Lab and the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University. His research focuses on the regulation and funding of internet-based platforms and infrastructures. This research intersects with wider tensions surrounding automation. Sam has presented his research at several conferences in Australia and internationally, and worked in teaching programs at the University of Melbourne and the University of Tasmania. Previous to RMIT, Sam worked in media and data analysis at The University of Tasmania and in technical production roles at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
